As an overseas outreach arm of Hong Kong Shipping Registry (HKSR) in the world's major sea ports, the Regional Desk of HKSR was set up in Shanghai at the end of 2019 and started serving shipping companies of Hong Kong-registered ships, residing in Mainland China and in the neighbouring region.

• Regional Head (Shanghai)
• Two Marine Surveyors
• Administration/supporting staff

Main Tasks:

• Providing technical support to shipping companies and Hong Kong- registered ships
• Providing services related to ship registration
• Exercising Flag State quality controls (FSQC)
• Enhancing the working relationship with maritime authorities
• HKSR Regional Desk, ETO and InvestHK join forces to promote the Hong Kong Shipping Registry and Hong Kong as the International Maritime Centre
