Terms of Reference

To administer the Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund (‘MMAF') of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Mercantile Marine Assistance Fund Regulations (Cap. 1001A).

Note: The last MMAF Committee meeting was held in May 1990. The MMAF and its committee have become defunct since 1 April 1996 when the last beneficiary of the MMAF passed away in March 1996. The existence of this committee is de jure pursuant to the MMAF Ordinance (Cap. 1001) but not de facto.
