The Hong Kong - Macau Ferry Terminal and China Ferry Terminal are managed by the Marine Department. They provide berthing facilities for the cross-boundary ferry services to and from Macau and 7 ports (including Zhuhai, Shekou, Zhongshan, Nansha, Shenzhen and Pazhou*) in the Mainland. In 2024, the total passenger throughput to these destinations amounts to some 8.28 million. (Due to epidemic situation, the China Ferry Terminal and Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal were suspended service on 30 Jan 2020 and 4 Feb 2020 respectively, and both terminals resumed service on 8 Jan 2023.)
